Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Trevoh Chalobah from London and Premier League rivals Chelsea in the summer transfer window, according to TEAMtalk. The report has claimed that Tottenham are poised to make a bid for Chalobah, who can operate as a centre-back or as defensive midfielder.
Chalobah has been on the books of Chelsea since 2007 and has established himself in the first team at the London club. The 24-year-old has been out on loan at Ipswich Town, Huddersfield Town and Lorient in recent years and was part of Mauricio Pochettino’s first team for Chelsea this past season.
The Englishman made 10 starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for Chelsea this past season. He scored one goal in those games. Chalobah played seven minutes in the Carabao Cup and played three times in the FA Cup for the London club in 2023-24. Tottenham finished fifth in the Premier League table, while Chelsea ended up sixth.
