India captain Rohit Sharma was left stunned by the way his opening partner Virat Kohli got out in the ongoing game against the United States of America (USA) in the T20 World Cup 2024. The match between the two teams is taking place at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.
India didn’t have the kind of start with the bat they would’ve wanted in the chase. After they restricted the United States of America to just 110 runs, they had a torrid start as Virat Kohli fell on the first ball that he faced at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.
On the second ball of the first over, Saurabh Netravalkar bowled a full delivery that was angled across the right-hander, to which the batter wanted to have a feel for it. He chased it away from his body and caught the outside edge of the bat that was caught by the keeper.
What caught the attention of many reactions of Rohit Sharma after Virat Kohli got out. The India captain, who was standing at the other end, looked stunned and couldn’t believe that his opening batter bagged a golden duck in the game against the United States of America.
