Serghei Spivac got his revenge over Marcin Tybura in Saturday’s UFC on ESPN 61 main event.
After suffering a unanimous decision loss in their first meeting in February 2020, Spivac (17-4 MMA, 8-4 UFC) showed his growth and improvements when he achieved a first-round armbar submission victory over Tybura (25-9 MMA, 12-8 UFC) in the heavyweight rematch at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
Spivac is now 4-1 in his past five fights over the the past two years, and has aligned himself for another notable opportunity in the weight class.
