According to Spanish outlet Sport, the services of Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku have been offered to Barcelona by his agent, Pini Zahavi, who enjoys a good relationship with the Catalan club.
The 27-year-old has been on good form this season, featuring in 25 matches across all competitions for the London Blues, scoring 12 goals and contributing four assists. However, he has recorded just two Premier League starts, and he is apparently unhappy with his status as a game changer off the bench. He is therefore keen to move to another big club, one which would provide him with a chance to stake a claim to a regular starting spot.
Nkunku would like to make the switch as soon as January, but Barcelona have no intention of signing new players in mid-season as they struggle to comply with the imposed wage limit. Chelsea would be willing to let him leave, but a move seems likelier to happen in the summer next year.
