NBA fans react as Stephen Curry admits ‘the end is near’ for his career

Stephen Curry acknowledged that he doesn’t have much time left to play in the NBA, as he winds down his career.

Stephen Curry has been one of the best players in the NBA for his entire career. Entering the NBA in 2009, Curry has been absolutely phenomenal.

Curry is one of the key figures responsible for transforming the NBA. His ability to shoot the ball showed everyone that a shoot-first mentality can be successful in the league.

In his career, he has found a lot of success. Curry is a four-time NBA champion, two-time NBA MVP, a Finals MVP, and a 10-time All-Star and All-NBA player.

Stephen Curry spoke in an interview recently with ESPN’s Malika Andrews. He noted that he thinks about the end of his career more and more and that he knows the end is coming soon.

“More than I probably have before. It’s okay to accept and acknowledge that the end is near. Only because it allows you to enjoy what is happening right now.”

Curry, who has played 16 seasons in the NBA, knows that his time is coming to an end in the years to come. And he seems to be operating with the mindset that his career is ending soon.

NBA fans weighed in on Curry’s comments. Many of them shared their sorrow for the impending retirement of the Babyfaced Assassin.

One fan said, “Honest, vulnerable, and there’s nothing wrong with looking Father Time in the eye and acknowledging it. That being said, #30 still has plenty of games left to go out on his terms!”

“I’m getting old,” said another fan.

“It’s going to be a sad day when Curry retires from the NBA. He’s the greatest shooter of all time,” lamented one fan.

Another fan made a request to the basketball gods, saying “I can’t imagine the League without Steph… In fact, I pray for another Steph right after this one hangs his jersey.”

Whereas a fan just simply claimed, “I’m gonna cry, man.”

One passionate fan made a bold declaration, saying “I won’t be watching as much NBA when the 30-something stars retire. Ant and Luka are cool but they dont got that same aura.”

There’s no doubt that Curry’s retirement will be an emotional affair. To see one of the game’s all-time great players bid farewell will demand every NBA fan’s attention.
