MMA Fighting has UFC Fight Night results for the Blanchfield vs. Barber fight card, a live blog of the main event, and more from the UFC APEX in Las Vegas on Saturday night.
In the main event, Erin Blanchfield and Maycee Barber square off in a catchweight contest. Blanchfield recently defeated former strawweight champion Rose Namajunas to improve to 7-1 in the UFC, while Barber has defeated her past six opponents. In the MMA Fighting Global Rankings, Blanchfield currently stands at No. 4 at flyweight, with Barber close behind at No. 7.
Barber missed weight for the contest, coming in at 126.5 pounds, 0.5 pounds over the non-title limit.
Lightweights Mateusz Gamrot and Ludovit Klein fight in Saturday’s co-main event. Gamrot is coming off of a close split decision loss to Dan Hooker that dropped his UFC record to 7-3, while Klein seeks the biggest win of his career in the midst of a 6-0-1 run.
