Paul George has Luka Doncic advice for Jalen Green on the Phoenix Suns, and makes Bradley Beal prediction

The Phoenix Suns acquired Jalen Green in a blockbuster trade with the Houston Rockets, giving him a new challenge.

After weeks of waiting, Kevin Durant was finally traded to the Houston Rockets, a move that turns them into genuine contenders.

The Suns received Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, the 10th overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, and five second-round picks in exchange for Durant.

With Kevin Durant gone, it seems likely that the Suns will look forward to moving other assets as well. The most obvious next move would be to figure out a way to move Bradley Beal.

The Big 3 of Devin Booker, Durant, and Beal looked interesting on paper. However, to form that trio, the Suns gave up way too many assets.

As a result, the team was left with an underwhelming bench. Keeping that in mind, Philadelphia 76ers star Paul George believes the Suns need to move on from Beal in hopes of having a deeper bench.

“We saw the Bradley Beal stuff going on. I think Bradley Beal will probably get moved,” George said on Podcast P.

“I thought what lacked there was that they didn’t have enough there outside of those three, and they are going to rebuild around, putting more options, more versatility, and a deeper bench.

“I’m not mad at the trade, they got the number 10 pick, they drafted well last year with the young fella Ryan Dunn,” he added.

Parting ways with Beal is easier said than done, as he has a no-trade clause in his contract. One way to make that a reality would be to follow Bill Simmons’ advice of making Beal’s life miserable on the team.

Jalen Green was the biggest asset the Suns received in the Durant trade. However, Isaiah Thomas has already initiated talks of rerouting Green before the 23-year-old even plays a single game in Phoenix.

If the Suns manage to trade Beal and build their future around Green, George has some important advice for the ex-Rockets star.

“Sometimes it’s more beneficial to get moved somewhere else. He’s been in Houston for four to five years, we know what Houston is. I think it could bring a lot to a young guy.

“Now you go to Phoenix, rebrand yourself, a fresh start. It’s a new chance for a fresh identity for himself,” George continued.

George urged Green to bounce back from getting traded by doing what Los Angeles Lakers superstar Luka Doncic did.

“You could be traded any day, we saw that with Luka. You can’t take it personal, it’s business at the end of the day. You find a new home and you throw yourself into the mix.

“I think this summer is going to be a huge summer for him, the hardest working summer he has ever committed to,” George concluded.
