In a rather unexpected turn of events, Chelsea won the FIFA Club World Cup with a relatively comfortable 3-0 victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the final on Sunday.
All three goals were scored in the first half, with Cole Palmer producing a pair of similarly cool finishes and Joao Pedro adding one of his own.
The misery of the Champions League holders was compounded late on with midfielder Joao Neves receiving a red card for pulling Chelsea left-back Marc Cucurella by the hair.
