Borussia Dortmund monitor Leandro Trossard situation

According to Florian Plettenberg of Sky in Germany, Borussia Dortmund are keeping an eye on the situation of Leandro Trossard at Arsenal. They are, however, aware that the Belgian winger has offers from two Premier League clubs to remain in England if he decides to leave the Gunners.

With Arsenal looking to continue revamping their attacking section after the arrival of striker Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting Lisbon, and with Trossard’s contract being in its final year, the 30-year-old moving on this summer is a possibility.

Trossard has never been a regular member of the starting XI preferred by manager Mikel Arteta, but last season he played an important role in Arsenal’s failed push for the Premier League title as captain Martin Odegaard and winger Bukayo Saka missed significant chunks of the campaign through respective injury problems.

Since his arrival from Brighton and Hove Albion in January 2023, Trossard has scored 28 goals and produced 23 assists in 124 competitive matches for the Gunners, across all competitions.
