Buddy Hield hilariously trolls Jimmy Butler after 33-point performance in Warriors’ Game 7 win, ‘Tell them you’re not…’

Buddy Hield led the Warriors in scoring with 33 points in Game 7 and didn’t miss the opportunity to troll Jimmy Butler after the game.

The Golden State Warriors pulled out a huge 103-89 win against the Houston Rockets to advance to the next round of the NBA playoffs.

Fans believe in Golden State after their big victory. Hopes are high for what Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler, and company can do this postseason.

It wasn’t one of the superstars that made the biggest splash in Game 7, though. Buddy Hield poured in 33 points and punctuated the game with a dagger three that sent the Rockets home.

Hield has been trolled endlessly by Butler since he was acquired. So he didn’t miss the opportunity to get back at the Warriors star.

Since his arrival, Jimmy has spoken about being the Robin to Steph’s Batman. Hield himself joked about being an Alfred after Game 3 of their first-round series.

In the decisive Game 7, Butler had 20 points. This paled in comparison to Buddy’s electric performance that saw him make nine three-pointers.

So when the 35-year-old superstar was about to begin his postgame press conference, the man of the moment interrupted him hilariously.

Standing in front of the media, Hield kept saying, “Tell them you’re not Robin no more.” Jimmy was shaking his head and saying, “Buddy, Buddy…”

He couldn’t stop himself from laughing, though, as the former Pacers man added, “You’re Alfred.”

This joke-feud between the two Warriors players is an excellent sign of the team chemistry. Deep postseason runs are built on similar dynamics.

And while some might feel bad for the six-time NBA All-Star after Hield trolled him, he didn’t miss a chance to get a dig in either.

When asked if Buddy had earned some praise after Game 7, Jimmy said, “No comment. I plead the fifth.”

Golden State will need both of these stars playing at the highest level if they want to get past the Minnesota Timberwolves in the next round.

This friendly rivalry remains entertaining for the fans, but the hope will be that they can also use it as motivation to achieve individual and team success.
