Chris Paul spoke very highly about Victor Wembanyama and what makes his unique to every other big man teammate he has had.
Chris Paul is perhaps the best teammate Victor Wembanyama has had. Paul is the last of a dying breed, a traditional, pass-first point guard.
Paul has been at his best when he has a dominant big man he can set up. His time with the LA Clippers and DeAndre Jordan showed us this.

Chris Paul spoke to Brian Windhorst in a recent interview with ESPN. When talking about his experience with Victor Wembanyama, CP3 noted that Wembanyama is even better as a person than as a player.
“It’s different. At this point in my career to get a chance to be part of Vic’s process I’m grateful because I would have been just like a lot of fans who are just like ‘Man this Wembanyama kid is good’.”
“So now to get to know him is different. He’s a better person than a player and you can’t say that about too many guys.”
Paul speaks highly of Wembanyama, not just as a player but as a person. And much like the NBA fans, he thinks Wemby has the ability to be one of the best players ever.

Adam Silver had his say on whether Wemby is living up to expectations this season. Clearly, the league has a lot of hopes for the young star.
DeMarcus Cousins believes that not only is Wembanyama’s ceiling high, but his floor is also very high, identifying what the lowest level of his career would look like.
Despite playing just one season, Wemby has GOAT-level expectations. And if he continues playing at the level he does, few can stop him from fulfilling those expectations.
