The trade between the Golden State Warriors and the Brooklyn Nets has been confirmed.
After it emerged the Golden State Warriors and Brooklyn Nets were cooking up a trade, the full details have now been confirmed.
- De’Anthony Melton
- Reece Beekman
- 2026 ATL unprotected 2nd round pick
- 2028 ATL unprotected 2nd round pick
- 2029 GSW unprotected 2nd round pick
- Dennis Schroder
- 2025 MIA 2nd round pick
The trade appears like a win for Golden State Warriors general manager Mike Dunleavy Jr, who needs to add help to Stephen Curry, with the superstar now 36.
Curry posted a welcome message to Schroder on social media that read simply, “Let’s get it”.
Schroder showed he was up for the challenge, responding: “100” twice, showing he is totally invested in the opportunity ahead.
Dennis Schroder is not expected to feature in the Warriors game against the Mavericks tonight. Instead the upcoming game against the Memphis Grizzlies later this week appears more likely.
Golden State hold a 14-10 record heading into the Mavericks game. The Grizzlies are a strong all-round team, currently second in the Western Conference, and adding Schroder will help the Warriors climb back up the standings.
