Doc Rivers believes there is a major gulf in class between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Milwaukee Bucks.
Doc Rivers saw his Milwaukee Bucks lose 112-100 to the Cleveland Cavaliers. It was a solid team display from the Cavaliers, who continue to look the part this season.
Despite Giannis Antetokounmpo scoring 30 points, the Bucks didn’t have enough to get it done. Their middling season was perfectly summed up in the game against the Cavaliers.
The Bucks were looking like championship contenders for a brief period this season. The players still believe, with Damian Lillard making a recent championship claim.
But right now, the Bucks are a step below the best of the best. Doc Rivers noted that there is a massive difference between the Bucks and the Cavaliers.

Speaking after the game, Doc Rivers was asked about his key takeaway from going 0-4 against the Cavaliers this season.
He noted that the Cavaliers have a fluidity and blind faith in their offense and, more specifically, their teammates. He believes the Bucks players will see it when they watch the game film.
“Just watching their trust over ours offensively. It will jump off the screen when our guys watch it.”
Rivers clearly respects the work that Kenny Atkinson has done with the Cavaliers. Their players have been performing at a very high level, something the Bucks just haven’t been able to.

Entering January, the Bucks were looking really strong. But their solid form began to waiver, as they began being defeated by some unexpected teams.
Whenever it came to playing some of the biggest teams in the NBA, the Bucks weren’t able to deliver. Hopefully, they can get a win against the undersized Los Angeles Lakers, who just lost LeBron James.
