Not many players will have had the experience of being happy about a poor performance, but imagine if Vincent Kompany joined Manchester United back in his young days.
The former Manchester City defender, who enjoyed an illustrious career at the Etihad and is now in charge of the team at Bayern Munich, was apparently scouted by Sir Alex Ferguson personally.

Vincent Kompany made his Champions League debut for Anderlecht at Celtic Park back in 2003.
