Golden State Warriors fans have a lot to say as Jonathan Kuminga releases ‘splashing threes’ training clip

Golden State Warriors star Jonathan Kuminga is expected to stay in the headlines after a confusing season with the team.

Initially, Jonathan Kuminga was expected to finally get consistent minutes on the Golden State Warriors under head coach Steve Kerr.

However, a trade for star Jimmy Butler stunted Kuminga’s growth. So much so that Kuminga found himself out of the rotation under coach Kerr.

Despite an underwhelming season, Kuminga can regain his role if he works hard on his craft during the offseason.

In the modern era, the ability to consistently drain three-pointers is evidently one of the best ways to secure a place on the roster.

Warriors’ Kuminga seemingly knows this as a video of the 22-year-old splashing three-point shots went viral on X.

Upon seeing the viral video, the Warriors fanbase called out the 2022 NBA champion.

“Brings the ball to his waist every time on the catch, limited improvement,” one Warriors fan wrote. A second fan stated: “Draining uncontested 3s in an empty gym isn’t proving anything.”

Another added: “He did this last year. Doesn’t matter.”

“Can he begin with free throws? And film to identify when to cut,” a frustrated Dubs fan questioned.

A fifth fan compared JK to Ben Simmons: “This the new Ben Simmons offseason tape lmao.”

“This happens every year. Dude should be working on rebounding and passing,” another Warriors fan advised Kuminga.

All things considered, Warriors fans want Kuminga to work on his craft, particularly his rebounding, instead of wasting time shooting threes in an open gym.

Kuminga will officially enter the NBA free agency this summer. He is among the top 50 NBA free agents to watch out for.

Considering how things went for Kuminga during the final phase of the regular season and the playoffs, it wouldn’t be a surprise if he left the Dubs.

However, the Warriors will have a chance to convince him to stay as Kuminga is a restricted free agent. That way, the front office can match any offer that Kuminga attracts as a free agent.

Either way, like Draymond Green stated, no matter what decision Kuminga makes, he is likely to succeed in the NBA.

After all, he finished his fourth season in the NBA averaging 15.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game in limited minutes.
