Golden State Warriors make massive statement with latest win over Nuggets, fans dreaming of 5th ring for Stephen Curry

The Golden State Warriors just got a major win over the Denver Nuggets, and Dub Nation is ready to believe again.

It may not be 2007, but the Bay Area once again believes in the Golden State Warriors. The franchise has been on fire since the trade deadline.

Stephen Curry and co. just made a massive statement over their last two games. The Warriors defeated the Lakers and Nuggets in back-to-back games.

With the NBA season ending soon, the Warriors are coming into form at the right time. Steve Kerr might not call Jimmy Butler an ‘obvious’ superstar, but he has played just like one.

LeBron James even compared this Warriors squad to the Kevin Durant-led side. He may be right, as fans are now beginning to dream about a championship.

To beat two of the top teams in the Western Conference in back-to-back games is no laughing matter. This is why several fans are taking them very seriously as title contenders.

Bill Simmons admitted, “I am taking the Warriors seriously.” Another Warriors fan proclaimed, “Warriors are championship contenders. Every NBA fan knows it.”

“The Warriors are 20-2 when Steph & Jimmy are in the lineup — GSW trading for Jimmy moved the needle,” celebrated a fan seeing their uptick in form.

“The Warriors just beat the Lakers and the Nuggets in B2B games. They are championship contenders,” claimed another Warriors supporter.

“Perfect is usually hyperbole, but it’s literal here. This Warriors starting lineup is now 14-0,” reminded one fan about their great form.

While another enthusiastic fan noted, “Stephen Curry is still moving like this at 37 years old. You’ve got to appreciate it while it lasts.”

Lastly, one fan began dreaming of another title, saying, “Warriors a legit title contender now!!! Steph is about to get his 5th ring!”

The Warriors have wins over the top four teams in the Western Conference. And some impressive wins against East sides like the Celtics and Knicks.

But when it comes to the playoffs, it is a completely different ballgame. Can they carry this momentum into the postseason?

With championship-experienced players like Curry and Draymond Green, and one of the best playoff risers in the NBA – Jimmy Butler, they should be feared.
