Sterling’s teammate and now-champion Merab Dvalishvili then won a unanimous decision over Cejudo at UFC 298. Prior to both setbacks, Cejudo was on a six-fight winning streak, a run that included capturing both the flyweight and bantamweight titles. … Song (21-8-1 MMA, 10-3-1 UFC) enters this main event opportunity following a decision loss to former champ Petr Yan at UFC 299 last March. The result followed back-to-back wins over Ricky Simon and Chris Gutierrez in 2023.
