Jimmy Butler spoke after his debut for the Warriors against the Chicago Bulls. He expressed his gratitude for Green’s willingness to be helpful.
“He’s telling me what he sees and I’m telling him what I see. Hell, I don’t know too many of the plays right now anyway, so he’s definitely telling me where to go on the floor.”
“And I’m grateful, he’s shown me so much grace in understanding I am new here, even though I’ve been around the league for so long. He’s showing me the way, and I’m very thankful for Draymond.”
Butler played well in his debut, scoring 25 points along with two rebounds and four assists. Perhaps Green’s willingness to help him allowed him to do well in his debut.

Butler undoubtedly makes the Warriors better. However, it is up to Steve Kerr to adjust the rotation so that he gets the best out of the Warriors.
