LeBron James asks New York Knicks fans about key demand for next season

LeBron James’ recent appearance at the Fanatics Fest has sent waves of excitement around social media.

The 40-year-old was seen alongside NFL great Tom Brady, Victor Wembanyama, Kai Cenat and other influential people at the event.

He interacted with a lot of his fans and shared his thoughts on basketball and other things as well.

The event was conducted at the Javits Center in New York and attracted a large number of New York Knicks fans.

LeBron James saw that and decided to ask them a question to force a reaction out of the crowd.

The four-time NBA champion lost in the first round of the playoffs, while the Knicks battled it out till the Eastern Conference Finals before losing to the Indiana Pacers.

After losing, the franchise fired coach Tom Thibodeau, who had been with them for five years.

James’ question was probably due to the Knicks’ coaching situation that seems to have finally found a contender in Taylor Jenkins.

“Knicks fans y’all good?” asked James to the crowd.

He followed that with another question, which they once again answered with enthusiasm.

“Y’all going to the Finals next year?” he questioned.

The fans nodded ‘yes’ to that and James stated that he would see if that would become true.

James, who recently criticised the NBA’s ring culture narrative, was at the event alongside some other esteemed individuals as well.

Brady was one of them and the NFL star made the event even more special as he gave some praise to the star for his consistency.

“With all the pressure and the intensity that’s been on him. The Olympics, the different teams that he’s been on and he’s always done things the right way.

“He’s always risen above all the noise and BS and continued to deliver.

“You’re witnessing the greatest ever and I hope you all appreciate that,” said Brady.

James will be entering his 23rd NBA season as a 40-year-old, which shows his longevity.

The question about his retirement has been looming for a long time.

However, the LA Lakers player recently confirmed that he would be playing for the team next season as well.

In his appearance on Fanatics alongside San Antonio Spurs’ Wembanyama, James said: “I can’t play that much further. The more & more times that I play, as long as [Victor Wembanyama] keeps smacking my f***** shots into the stands, it’s gonna make me retire.”

James and Luka Doncic had a great regular season together before losing in the playoffs to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The duo will be hoping that their first training camp together proves to be helpful and they help Lakers win their 18th championship.
