Liverpool are interested in signing Aurelien Tchouameni from Real Madrid, according to Fichajes. The report has claimed that Liverpool are ready to pay as much as €60 million in transfer fees for Tchouameni, but Madrid want more than that.
Fichajes has reported that Liverpool head coach Arne Slot considers Tchouameni a player who would fit well with the physical and intense style of the Premier League. The former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners are willing to pay more than €60 million if that gets a deal done with Madrid for the France international defensive midfielder.
Tchouameni, who can also operate as a central defender, has been on the books of Madrid since the summer of 2022 when he joined from AS Monaco. The 24-year-old has had injury problems during his time at the Santiago Bernabeu, but he has also won La Liga and the UEFA Champions League once each with Los Blancos.
