NBA fans astonished after learning Steph Curry and Kevin Durant’s NBA 2K26 three-point ratings, ‘doesn’t make sense’

With NBA 2K26 all set to release on September 05, 2025, fans are now finding out about player ratings.

So far, fans are already aware of the top-rated players in the upcoming video game – Nikola Jokic, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. They are all tied at 98 rating.

But what about specific skills ratings? For instance, the three-point ratings. Well, the details are available about them as well.

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is widely regarded as the best three-point shooter of all time. So, it’s no surprise that Curry leads the stat with a 99 three-point rating.

Aside from Curry, only Kevin Durant has a 90-plus three-point rating in NBA 2K26. KD was given a 91 rating from deep.

Upon learning this, NBA fans on X were surprised as they named several stars who deserved a better rating from beyond the arc.

“Doesn’t make sense, they always give literal shooters 77 to low 80s,” one fan wrote. While another added: “This game is worse than the last.”

“Ant & Malik Beasley should be at a 90 as well,” a third fan added.

“They are elite, but Lebron, Shai, Ant, Jokic, and Luka should also be over 90,” a fourth fan stated.

“Why the hell is KD up there and Ant isn’t?” a furious fan asked.

“I’m not sure about that,” a sixth fan wrote.

Most fans were surprised by the absence of Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards. After all, Edwards had the most three-pointers made in the 2024-25 NBA season.

While the top spots belong to Curry and Durant, what about the other eight in the top 10 three-pointers in NBA 2K26? Let’s find out.

Player Name NBA 2K26 Three-Point Rating
Stephen Curry 99
Kevin Durant 91
Klay Thompson 89
Desmond Bane 88
Aaron Gordon 88
Isaiah Joe 88
Doug McDermott 88
Darius Garland 87
Zach LaVine 87
Kristaps Porzingis 87

The list features some incredible three-point shooters, but fans won’t be happy with the snubs of notable stars like Edwards, LeBron James, Luka Doncic, and more.

After all, they all had terrific shooting from deep during the 2024-25 NBA season.
