Los Angeles Clippers star James Harden is currently on his annual Adidas tour.
As a result, James Harden is in Asia, meeting his fans outside of the USA. It’s a great gesture from Harden to help international basketball fans meet their idol.
At the same time, it’s important for the Beard to take care of fitness as the offseason is an excellent time to work on his craft before the next season.
Unfortunately, it seems that the soon-to-be 36-year-old has allowed himself to get out of shape.
On one hand, Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic has gone through an impressive transformation to get into the best shape of his NBA career.
While Doncic is getting immense praise for it, on the other side of the spectrum is Harden, as the LA Clippers star’s video from a training session went viral on X.
In the viral video, Harden looks overweight as NBA fans took several jabs at the Clippers star for getting out of shape in the offseason.
“That metabolism ain’t hitting the same,” one fan wrote. While another added: “He’s looking like Kendrick Perkins.”
“Damn, bro, what happened?” a fan asked.
“Dude ate Luka,” a fourth fan stated.
“Harden is one of the best, laziest hoopers ever,” a fifth fan stated with surprise.
“Now we know where Luka’s weight went,” a fan pointed out.
While Harden indeed looks out of shape, it’s nothing new, as the Beard is known for enjoying the offseason rather than working on his conditioning.
With Harden all set to turn 36 years old soon, he is yet to make it to the NBA Finals. However, Harden hasn’t given up on that dream.
After all, Lawrence Frank praised Harden for helping the Clippers have a successful offseason ahead of the new season.
Additionally, Harden has been reunited with Chris Paul as the two stars want to address unfinished business from their time together on the Houston Rockets.
Lastly, let’s not forget that Harden averaged 22.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 8.7 assists per game for the Clippers while also playing in 79 matchups last season.
So, he may take a couple of months off during the summer, but when the going gets tough, the Clippers can still rely on Harden.
