New York Knicks fans can’t believe what official X page has just posted with NBA Finals reaching Game 7

The New York Knicks’ season ended in the Eastern Conference Finals after a defeat to the Indiana Pacers.

Just days after the loss, the team announced the firing of head coach Tom Thibodeau.

The New York Knicks‘ search for a new coach has left the entire NBA community in splits.

Jason Kidd, Ime Udoka and Chris Finch were involved in the list of names that the Knicks wanted to interview, but they were denied permission and have now finally got a chance to speak with former Memphis Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins.

Amidst all the coaching drama that has unfolded, the Knicks players have continued with their offseason.

The official X handle of the team posted a few vacation pictures of the players with the caption: “it’s the first day of summer. we outside.”

This served to anger fans, set against the backdrop of the NBA Finals reaching Game 7, with the Pacers showing that the top-seeded Thunder can be challenged.

Knicks’ official X page posted pictures of their star players Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, Mitchell Robinson and Mikal Bridges enjoying their offseason.

However, furious Knicks fans were not pleased with the timing of the post and expressed their disappointment in the comments.

One fan replied: “It’s hard being a Knicks fan. Stop making it harder.”

While another said: “Admin didn’t think this one through.”

A user also questioned if the Indiana Pacers had hacked Knicks’ official account to post these pictures.

“Did the Pacers hack this account to post these?,” his tweet read.

Some also remarked: “Cancun looks lit.”

A fan added: “The Knicks haters will love this post.”

“Hell of a tweet to make during the finals,” another noted.

Another wrote: “Not a flex, especially when teams have a game 7 for the finals on Sunday.”

One claimed the Knicks are just serving up ammunition for rival fans, writing: “That JB picture will be going quadruple platinum next year. I can already see it happening.”

Thibodeau was also brought up in the comments section by an X user.

“Meanwhile, Thibs is at an upstate laundromat telling a quarters dispenser what he’d have done differently in G1,” he tweeted.

Fans’ frustrations on the Knicks are valid as losing to the same opponent two seasons in a row is painful.

However, the team is in a very good place and the upcoming coach has a stacked roster to play with.

Kevin Durant was reportedly a player that was linked with the Knicks, but the team did not opt to trade for him.

Kendrick Perkins was not too pleased with the decision and slammed the franchise as the two-time champion would have been an instant upgrade from Karl-Anthony Towns.

While missing out on KD was disappointing, reports have suggested that the offseason is going to be an explosive one with a few more moves expected to happen.

The Knicks have players who they can present in a trade for a star player and if that happens, they will be an exciting side to watch next season.

Jalen Brunson is a sensational point guard, but in the playoffs, the load on him was excessive and the others were not consistently stepping up.

Bringing another star player would make the salary cap situation complicated and would require trading KAT, but if that leads to another good option who can score, the team ideally should take the deal.
