Nikola Jokic left NBA fans in awe with an incredible shot against the Portland Trail Blazers.

The Denver Nuggets continue to make strides in the Western Conference following a slow start to the 2024-25 NBA season.

The organization is now 35-19 for the season as they hold the third seed in the conference. As expected, 3x NBA MVP Nikola Jokic has been instrumental during the Nuggets’ phenomenal run of late.

Jokic also propelled the Nuggets to a breathtaking 146-116 win over the Portland Trail Blazers, extending his team’s winning streak to seven games.

Speaking of Jokic’s performance, the Joker finished the night with 40 points, 7 rebounds, and 8 assists in just 31 minutes of playing time.

While Jokic’s 40-point performance deserves praise, the reigning NBA MVP earned more applause for his insane three-pointer during the first quarter of the game.

With the clock running down, Jokic was ice-cold and hit a circus three-point shot as he was fading out of bounds.

How do players even defend against it? Jokic essentially brought a hilarious meme to reality with his incredible shot-making skills.

As much as many would love to deny, Jokic is once again having an MVP-caliber season and he’s simply unstoppable on the court.

Over the years, a plethora of NBA players have perfected insanely difficult shots by practicing them for hours and hours.

However, as per the 2023 NBA champion, he doesn’t practice such shots. Instead, he follows LeBron James‘ former Miami Heat teammate, Mike Miller’s slogan, “Let It Fly.”

“It was a play that we have. I got the ball and I saw it was like four or five something [on the shot clock] and I just needed a rhythm to throw it in the air,” Jokic said during the postgame conference.

He added: “Like my old friend Mike Miller said, ‘Just shoot it and let it fly.’”

Despite not practicing these shots, Jokic did admit that he loved that moment. At the end of the day, Jokic’s individual brilliance is resulting in the Nuggets climbing the rankings in the West standings, so why wouldn’t he enjoy these shots?
