“Jokic is phenomenal, what he does, and honestly the way he goes about his private life. People thought at the beginning that he was fake, that he was not interested in anything but his family and his horses.
“But that’s really everything he is interested in, truthfully, honestly,” added Djokovic.
Even after winning the 2023 championship, Jokic expressed his desire to go back to his home country sooner for a horse race.
His brothers are at his games regularly and Jokic also shared a beautiful moment with his daughter after winning the championship two years back.
Djokovic, who is another big star in Serbia, shared the country is proud of the way Jokic is dominating the league.
He said: “I really respect that. He’s such a talent, he also works hard, and he has got a huge basketball IQ, and just to see him dominate with incredible athletes in American basketball is just something we are all very proud of.”
Jokic is one of the most skilled centers in the NBA, with his vision sometimes shocking even his teammates.
