Pascal Siakam addresses his viral moment before Pacers won Game 6, he has one regret about it

The NBA Finals will have a Game 7 after the Indiana Pacers’ blowout win against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Ahead of Game 6, Pascal Siakam had a viral moment when he looked possessed, which became a widespread meme.

For the Indiana Pacers’ 2025 postseason run, there has been a running joke of them using magic to win games. They have made some magical moments throughout this run, including Tyrese Haliburton’s buzzer-beaters.

Many people see the Game 1 shot as one of the league’s all-time great plays. Despite being the underdog against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA Finals, they have forced a Game 7. It was a fantastic Game 6 performance, as they blew out the favorites.

That has led to many discussions, including some about Pascal Siakam looking possessed in the huddle. It was the icing on the cake for people who made fun of the Pacers for practicing magic.

The NBA community had fun making jokes regarding Siakam’s eyes in the pre-game huddle. It was also timely because the Pacers went on to dominate the Thunder. There will now be a do-or-die Game 7 for all the marbles.

The Pacers want to capture the magic they had in Game 6, but the Thunder will be a challenging opponent. Siakam will be vital, as he is the Pacers’ best scoring option. Haliburton can chip in, but it was evident that his injury was hurting him despite having a solid game.

Some people have joked that Siakam should do his viral moment with his eyes again to get the win. For the one-time champion, Siakam wants to make it two, with a win in Game 7. He is a top candidate for Finals MVP, as he is carrying the Pacers. A good Game 7 could push him to winning that award.

“They said I was a demon I wish I had a 30-point game or something like that. Spirit took over.

” I’m trying to close my eyes, but I’m not closing it. Most of the time, I have to remind myself to close my eyes… At least they’re talking about it,” Siakam said in reaction to his viral moment.

The Finals continue to deliver, as the Pacers and Thunder are playing a do-or-die game for all the marbles. It will be a competitive game between the overwhelming favorite and the plucky underdogs. However, this series has proven that the Pacers are more than that.

Siakam, Haliburton, and the rest of the Pacers are a complete team that wants to win. They are proving that the superstar model might be nice, but having a complete squad is also good. Haliburton and Siakam are the stars, but the rest of the team has proven themselves.

Expect some big performances from both sides, as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams are ready. It will be a blockbuster Game 7 in front of the rowdy Paycom Center crowd in Oklahoma City.
