MMA Fighting has PFL 5 results for the Jackson vs. Jean fight card at Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn., on Thursday.
This event is the fifth in the PFL’s 2025 World Tournament, which hosts eight-man tournaments across eight different weight classes. Tonight’s card hosts the semifinals for the welterweight and featherweight tournaments.
In the welterweight main event, former Bellator champion Jason Jackson fights rising star Thad Jean. Jackson recently rebounded from a title fight loss to Ramazan Kuramagomedov with a second-round submission of fellow former champ Andrey Koreshkov to advance in the 170-pound bracket.
Jean has competed in several showcase bouts, but didn’t make his PFL tournament debut until this year. In his first fight of the competition, he finished Mukhamed Berkhamov via knockout inside of a round.
In the co-main event, featherweights Jesus Pinedo and Gabriel Braga meet in a trilogy bout. Their series is notched at one win apiece, with Braga winning their first meeting by split decision, and Pinedo one-upping him with a TKO win in the third round of the 2023 tournament final.
