Tottenham Hotspur and Leeds United are interested in signing Bilal El Khannouss from Leicester City.
The player will be allowed to leave the recently relegated club for a fee of €26 million, as per GMS.
It will be interesting to see if the two Premier League clubs are prepared to pay up for him. They have the resources to get the deal done, and the 21-year-old could prove to be a bargain acquisition at that price.
Arsenal have been linked with El Khannouss in the past.
Spurs need a Maddison alternative
Tottenham need more creativity in the middle of the park, especially after the injury blow to James Maddison. The England international will be sidelined for several months. The 21-year-old Leicester City midfielder would prove to be the ideal acquisition. He will help create chances for his teammates, and he will add some much-needed ingenuity in the final third as well.
The opportunity to play for a Champions League-level club will be quite exciting for the player as well. Tottenham will be an attractive destination for him. The reported asking price is affordable for the North London club, and it remains to be seen whether they follow up on their interest with an official proposal.

Meanwhile, Leeds United are keen on the player as well. They have been promoted to the Premier League, and they will look to make their mark in the top flight. They need quality players in order to do well in the first division of English football. The 21-year-old midfielder has the experience of top-flight football, and he has the technical attributes to do well in the Premier League as well. He will certainly help them improve going forward. El Khannouss would be a long-term acquisition for Leeds.
It will be interesting to see what the player decides if both clubs come in with an offer to sign him. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace and West Ham United are keeping tabs on his situation as well.
