Steve Kerr gave some insight on Stephen Curry potentially returning, while Draymond Green offered a unique perspective.
The Golden State Warriors, yet again, failed to get a win against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Now, they are down 3-1 and facing elimination as they travel to Minnesota for Game 5.
Stephen Curry suffered an injury in Game 1, and that has proven to be the turning point in this series. Jimmy Butler and Buddy Hield did what was asked of them in Game 1 to steal a win.
Jonathan Kuminga has done quite well in Curry’s absence, proving Steve Kerr wrong for sidelining him. But it hasn’t led to any wins.
For those fans who are hoping and praying for a return for Stephen Curry, they might not have to wait too long for an answer.

Speaking after Game 4, Steve Kerr was asked about an update on Stephen Curry’s status. Kerr didn’t have an update ready at the time.
However, the Warriors’ head coach revealed there would be an update on the matter by Wednesday. It appears that Curry needs to be cleared by doctors after another evaluation.
Curry’s absence has really cost the Warriors. And Shams Charania had reported Curry would miss multiple games.
A return in Game 5 is possible. But unless it is absolutely safe for him to return, Draymond Green doesn’t want to see Stephen Curry back on the court.

Draymond Green spoke in his post-game press conference about Stephen Curry returning. He urged the Warriors not to force Curry to return too early and find a way to figure out how to win without him.
“We don’t need Superman. Play the long game. If he can, we know he will. But we gotta figure out a way to win whether he plays or not.”
Draymond Green is right to be concerned. Stephen Curry is 37 years old. At this stage of his career, he can still play, but his health is a priority.
There is no point in bringing back Curry before he is 100 per cent just to attempt an unlikely comeback is not worth it.
