Suns’ Bradley Beal Ruled Out Against Kings With Hamstring Injury

The Phoenix Suns faced the Sacramento Kings without full strength in the second half of Tuesday’s NBA matchup. The team has confirmed that Bradley Beal will not participate due to a left hamstring injury.

After only five minutes, Beal recorded five points and one rebound, shooting 2-2 from the floor and 1-1 from beyond the arc. Phoenix still won 130-125, improving to 32-22 through 54 games.

Beal, 30, has encountered multiple injuries this season, including issues with his back and ankle, leading to missed games. Before Tuesday’s game, he had appeared in only 29 of the Suns’ 53 games for the 2023-24 season.

Although he has an All-Star background, Beal has transitioned to a supporting role behind Kevin Durant and Devin Booker, with season averages of 18.7 points, 4.7 assists, and 4.4 rebounds. He boasts a 49.3 percent shooting accuracy from the field and a 35.8 percent three-point shooting rate.

The three-time All-Star’s participation was limited to 40 games during the 2021-22 season and 50 games in the previous season while he was with the Washington Wizards.
