Allen, a defensive expert in his own right, claimed that Doncic has worked really hard on his physique and now has the build to be a strong two-way player for the Lakers.
“That kind of scared me, bro. It’s scary because you’ve now got a player who is in shape and going to have to play both ends, there ain’t no more picking on him.
“He’s in shape now that his body has endurance to compete on both ends, I love it.”
While Allen is right to make such claims, we will only know the impact of Doncic’s new physique on his defense once the star takes to the court in October with the Lakers.
