‘Two Fights of the Night?’: Pros react to back-to-back slobberknockers at UFC Vegas 108

The lightweight division delivered two epic battles to lead into the main event of UFC Vegas 108.

In the co-main event, Chris Duncan and Mateusz Rebecki went through a bloody battle that will likely end up on Fight of the Year lists around the world. Duncan ended up getting the unanimous decision nod in the wild affair where both guys threw caution to the wind every second for the entire 15 minutes.

Prior to that, Esteban Ribovics battled Elves Brener in another anticipated lightweight clash. Ribovics hurt Brener early in the bout, but the Brazilian was able to gather his wits and continue fighting. As the fight went on, both men landed big shots, and it was Ribovics that pulled away. By the third round, it was all Ribovics, but a gritty and tough Brener made it to the final horn with Ribovics getting back in the win column.
