Tyrese Haliburton has been brilliant since joining the Indiana Pacers in 2022. The franchise landed him from the Sacramento Kings, and he has become their centerpiece.
Haliburton’s talent has elevated the Pacers, who reached the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time in 10 years last season.
Tyrese is a unique star who approaches things in different ways. He recently admitted that watching game film with Rick Carlisle isn’t a priority for him.
Despite this, he is a coach favorite, with Carlisle giving Haliburton props for their recent win over the Rockets. But Tyrese wants to emulate a Pacers legend who played under Carlisle years ago.

Speaking after an incredible win over the Milwaukee Bucks, Tyrese Haliburton reflected on his incredible four-point play to win the game.
He noted that the Pacers’ arena has seen several Reggie Miller moments. And as the new face of the Pacers, he wants to create a few memories of his own.
“There’s definitely a lot of Reggie moments in this building. I’m just trying to make my own.”
Haliburton shared a moment with Reggie Miller prior to the game. The Pacers legend was on the call for the game, and the two shared an embrace.

The Indiana Pacers haven’t grabbed a lot of headlines this year like they did last season. But they shook off a slow start and now sit fourth in the East, just five games back from the third seed.
Tyrese Haliburton has averaged 18.5 points, 8.9 assists, and 3.5 rebounds per game this season. It has been a strong performance from as the leader of the team.
The Pacers shocked a lot of fans last season by making a run to the Eastern Conference Finals. While they were swept by eventual champions Boston Celtics, they did put on a great showing of themselves.
Haliburton and the team could make a similar run this season. They have the roster to compete with some of the best in the East and could once again surprise people.
