UFC 318 weigh-in results: Dustin Poirier successfully makes weight for final fight

Dustin Poirier was first to the scale for the last fight of his storied career.

“The Diamond” kickstarted Friday’s official morning weigh-ins for UFC 318, coming in at 156 pounds to set up his trilogy bout with Max Holloway. Though Holloway’s “BMF” championship is on the line in the five-round contest, it is not a traditional championship belt and thus both fighters were allowed the one-pound allowance for a non-title fight

Holloway successfully weighed in at 155 pounds.

All 28 fighters competing Saturday appeared to have little issue with the scale, with only Robert Valentin needing to make use of the box to strip behind it and make weight.

Paulo Costa was the second-last fighter to weigh in, but he hit the mark at 185 pounds as did opponent Roman Kopylov.

UFC 318 takes place at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans on Saturday, with the main card airing live on ESPN+ pay-per-view.
