What Miami Heat players are saying in locker room about being without ‘chaos’ of Jimmy Butler

The Miami Heat continues to face massive league attention on their ongoing drama with Jimmy Butler.

Ever since it all started way back in November, the Miami Heat have been trembled with outside chatter and speculations about their future with their franchise star. And the noise further intensified when Jimmy Butler himself eventually indicated a trade out of the organization.

Disgruntled by the fact that he failed to obtain his max extension and the proper help he desires to compete, Butler has gone desperate to call it quits which prompted the Heat to finally slap him a lengthy suspension while working on a deal to end their five-year partnership.

All signs lead Butler and the Heat now to a bitter basketball divorce after it was recently reported that the disgruntled All-Star met face-to-face with team president Pat Riley to reaffirm his current stand.

There were reported chances that Butler could find himself back wearing a Heat jersey once his suspension ends, but the 35-year-old remains determined to finally identify a new group around him.

While the Heat would love their leader back in action, they are much more at peace now for how his nonexistence has separated them away from league uproar.

In the NBA Today, ESPN insider Shams Charania revealed the general thoughts around Miami in the midst of Butler’s absence.

“Erik Spoelstra, Terry Rozier, Tyler Herro, Bam Adebayo, around this team, they’ve spoken about, yes, it’s tough being without Jimmy Butler. But they haven’t had the distraction, the chaos, and also the clarity that they’ve had with Jimmy Butler away from the team,” he said.

“And in factions of that locker room, being without Jimmy Butler, it’s provided that at least you’re not dealing with a disgruntled player.

“In the next 48-72 hours, we’re gonna see more conversations in Miami to figure out where exactly this is gonna go.”

Over the past six games that Butler was inactive due to his team suspension, the Heat have gone for a 3-3 record.

While it was considerably a fair stretch, it still gave Miami a platform to do things on their own in which Tyler Herro and Co. have embraced an increased load and responsibility. It even appears that their vibes are immaculate without him upon the recent cryptic remarks delivered by Haywood Highsmith.

Although it is yet to be seen if Butler will indeed return to them after his suspension, the Heat remains compelled to show off outside of his shadows. As they continue to get even more comfortable and capable, it’s becoming easier for them to adjust and embrace a looming break up with Butler.
